Volunteer Meeting on Zoom!
Let’s Do Good Together – Join Us on Zoom April 13th! 💖
Hey there, awesome humans!
Mark your calendars because we’ve got something exciting coming your way – our next Volunteer Meeting is happening on Zoom, April 13th at 2:00 PM! 🎉 Whether you're a longtime volunteer or brand new and curious, we’d love to see your face (even if it's in pajama bottoms – no judgment here).
Our tagline says it all: Fun Events for Good Causes. And trust us, we live it! From community fundraisers to heartfelt support for breast cancer patients and their families, everything we do is powered by people like you who care about making a difference.
At this meeting, we’ll be chatting about:
-
Upcoming volunteer events (hint: there’s lots of good stuff ahead!)
-
How we’re giving back to local communities in Orange and San Diego Counties
-
Ways you can support individuals and families affected by breast cancer
-
And of course, some feel-good stories to remind us why we do what we do 💕
We’ve got volunteer opportunities galore, whether you’re into organizing events, helping behind the scenes, or just showing up with a big heart and a ready smile. No matter your schedule or skillset – there’s a place for you here.
✨ Want in? Sign up to volunteer on our website – it’s quick and easy!
Then hop on the Zoom call April 13th at 2:00 PM, bring your questions, ideas, and good vibes!
Let’s keep doing good together – one fun event at a time.
We need volunteers who want to take part in a great event that is fun and exciting, as well as a bit irreverent.
Pre-Event:
- Collecting and getting raffle and silent auction prizes donated
- Spread the word and get people to sign up!
- Routing planning support. Getting route arrows out on the road a few days before the event
Day of the Event:
- OC Start at the Irvine train station. Riders will check-in, get numbers pinned to their jerseys, drop of a bag for party clothes, get a group photo, and ride south.
- The San Diego Start/Finish in North Country Transit District Park and Ride parking lot. Riders will check-in, put numbers on their jerseys, get a group photo, and ride south.
- The ride has three Breast Stops (yep, that is what we call our rest stops). We need supporters to hand out water, food, and other things to the riders .
- Last Mile Party at the Roxy in Encinitas where the ride culminates into a fun party with not- so serious awards.
