Get in shape and do some local good; do the Boob Ride in 2025!

This year, let’s kick off our New Year’s resolutions with a cause that’s close to many hearts and full of fun—The Boob Ride! Happening on May 3, 2025, this charity bicycle event raises funds for breast cancer warriors, and it’s the perfect way to combine fitness, philanthropy, and a whole lot of laughter.

Fun rides are available from 30 - 90 miles, or as we call them, the A-Cup to the D-Cup! For some of you, the D-Cup 90 mile ride is a big stretch, for others, the A Cup 30 mile ride is a big ride. Either way, you can challenge yourself and, if you start now, you have time to train. Time to get back on the bike.

Oh, and get signed-up!

The Boob Ride is different from other charity rides because 100% of rider registration go to the cause and it stays local. The cause is that we help local low income people win their battle with breast cancer where it counts, in the trenches. This means buying food, getting gas to go to medical appointments, paying medical bills, and getting through treatment. Last year alone we helped 500 people! You can be a part of this and get in a great bike ride.

You will need to train because this ain't no walk in the park. Get your butt off the couch and on the bike. Here are some of the challenges you can train for:

  • D-Cup is 90 miles with over 4,500 feet of elevation gain and it goes through the Elfin Forest. The only way to win the yellow bra is to be the first one in on the D-Cup route. The pace is fast and hot. Do NOT dilly-dally at the Breast Stops or the pack will leave without you. All the climbing is at the end, a sting in the tail as it were!
    • Starts in Irvine at 7 am at a hot pace
    • San Diego start is in Encinitas at 7 am at a hot pace as well
  • C-Cup is the most popular route at about 60 miles. This is a mostly coastal route that is a solid and scenic.
    • San Diego starts in Encinitas at 7:30, heading south before looping around towards and inland route.
    • Irvine heads along the coast with undulating routes until Encinitas. C Cup riders roll at 7:30
  • B-Cup is a U-turn route designed for people that want to show their support, but need to get back home for whatever reason. This route is typically about 45 miles, but you can turn around as needed. It is not too long or too short, it is just the right size!
    • San Diego starts in Encinitas at 7:30 with the C-Cup group and is mostly coastal.
    • Irvine starts at 7:30 with the C-Cup and typically turns around at Los Pulgas, or sooner.
  • A-Cup is the MOST fun group and it is only available in San Diego. This is a fun group of people that dress up and have a casual ride, taking pictures all along the way. However, the 30 miles start to add up so make sure you have trained.
