Farewell to Ferdie

The Loss of One of Our Own

We know the last two years have brought incredible losses to many, and unfortunately, The Boob Ride experienced quite a few of its own. We lost a long-time rider, donor, and supporter of The Boob Ride, Ferdie Dioso.

For those of you who knew Ferdie, he was full of life and laughter. Ferdie rode in the first Biking 4 Boobs event and even tested out our SAG wagon procedures that year. For many years to come, Ferdie either volunteered his time and expertise or donated to the cause. As a volunteer, Ferdie would do anything needed, to include sitting in front of the Camp Pendleton gate with a sign directing riders to Oceanside through the freeway. In 2019, he drove the SAG wagon and volunteered again for the same position in 2022. We are grateful for all that he gave, year after year.

Are hearts are a bit heavier without him, but we will continue to do good work in memory of all that he contributed to the organization and to us.
